Ski Mountaineering

Did you know that ski season in Colorado can extend into late April? That means there’s still time to plan a spring break ski trip this year.

Ski-In, Ski-Out

Colorado skiing is some of the best on Earth, and one of the best times to experience it is in spring. The Breckenridge vacation rentals available with Ski Colorado are perfect for your next ski vacation, allowing you ski-in access to pristine slopes.

Planning Spring Break on the Slopes

Hang on to the last few weeks of winter in sunny, snowy Colorado by booking a mountain rental in Summit County. We offer everything from one-bedroom to six-bedroom properties so you can ski solo, or bring the whole family.

Winter sports enthusiasts love Colorado skiing due, in part, to the highest altitude lift-served slopes in the country. Take advantage of what Breckenridge has to offer, both on the mountain and off.

Book Now

As of February 2022, nearly 50% of our rentals are booked for spring travel, so act fast if you want to find yourself shredding the slopes come March or April. With spring skiing in Colorado known for so many blue sky days, it’s a popular time for both novice and experienced skiers alike.

Choose Your Resort

While Ski Colorado Vacation Rentals is based in Breckenridge, we don’t want to limit you to one resort for your spring break trip. There are 28 ski (and snowboard) resorts in Colorado, making it easy to choose the resort with the terrain and amenities that cater to your skill level and budget. If you’re into cross-country skiing, there are 20 Nordic centers, 41 State Parks, and 11 National Parks in which you can explore flatter terrain on skis or snowshoes.

Other Spring Break Trip Tips

Our rentals provide some of the comforts of home, such as cozy beds and fully-equipped kitchens, but you’ll want to know a few tips for making the most of your spring break trip. Since you’ll probably experience sunny skies, be sure to bring sunscreen to protect any exposed skin on the slopes.

Breckenridge, Colorado has an altitude of 9,600 feet, so give yourself time to acclimate if this is a big change from where you live. This may mean you won’t hit the slopes first thing on day one and instead will need to give yourself time to adjust to the thinner air. We also suggest staying hydrated and including fruit, veggies, and extra carbs in your diet while you’re visiting Breckenridge.

It’s the goal of our property management services to provide you with the best experience when you stay at one of our Ski colorado Vacation Rentals. If you have questions about planning your spring break ski trip, get in touch with us today.
