Lighting of Breckenridge and the Race of the Santas
December 7, 2019
To kick the winter off, the Lighting of Breckenridge and the Race of the Santas is a crowd-pleaser to get you into the holiday spirit. Put on your Santa suit and lace up your sneakers – you can run down Main Street! Stick around for the Town lighting up it’s famous holiday tree and lights and of course, don’t forget to visit with Santa!
Ullr Fest
December 11-15, 2019
Ullr is coming early this season – mark your calendars! The Town of Breckenridge invites snow lovers of all ages to join the party 57th annual Ullr Fest party. Don’t be surprised to see horned Viking hats adorning the heads of skiers and snowboarders, the biggest bonfire in town, and more than 12,000 Ullr enthusiasts filling the streets for the Ullr Parade with crazy float participants skiing off jumps on Main Street or gliding along town in a hot tub. Join us to rejoice with Ullr himself… he’s ready for a good party.
International Snow Sculpture Championships
January 24-29, 2020
Get out your cameras and enjoy a stroll around some of the most impressive snow sculptures you will ever see. With teams from around the world competing, the free International Snow Sculpture Championships will not disappoint! We’ll let the video speak for itself:
Mardi Gras
February 25, 2020
The details for this annual festival haven’t been finalized yet, but you can expect a parade, a concert and lots of beads — after all it’s Mardi Gras, Breckenridge-style!
Breck Pride
April 1-5, 2020
Plans are still in the works, but if the 2019 Breck Pride week was any indication, Breck Pride 2020 is not to be missed. We anticipate that events will include the Breckenridge Ski Resort Color Run, Daily Après and Dining, the Breckenridge Spring Beer Festival, Live Music, DJs, and Parties and Drag Queen Bingo. Save the date!
