Winter 2014 just got that much sweeter. The mountain was originally scheduled to close on Sunday April 20th, but with such an epic season Breckenridge has decided to keep Peak 6, 7 and 8 open an extra week thru April 27th. With all the spring breakers gone, it’s a blissful feeling to have the runs almost all to ourselves. Not to mention being spoiled with all the summer like weather, Breck is having a multitude of blue bird and almost 50 degree days.
Because of the above average snowfall and recent 20 “, there is more than enough snow to keep skiiers and snowboarders happy all the way through the end of April, plus all of the hiking that is more available on the warmer days. Spring skiing is the arguably the best of the season so don’t miss out on this opportunity to squeeze a few more days on that Epic pass!
