Breckenridge Ski Resort

Breckenridge Ski Resort

There are countless reason why Breckenridge is legendary.: Breck was the first resort to open a high-speed quad, it feature the highest superchair in the world, is home to globally recognized terrain parks, and averages 300 inches of snowfall each year. It is no wonder why we love this kingdom, and this morning saw no change in our enthusiasm for the mountain. Locals gave thanks to Ullr today for yet another incredible powder day on the slopes. After all, he is the reason why “Ski Magazine Reader Resort Survey” frequently ranks Breckenridge as a top-notch resort.  And, as ski season continues and February rapidly approaches with the promise of several big storm cells, this is the best time of year to experience our ski town. The mountain has received over 18 inches of fresh snow within the last seven and even more is expected to fall as January comes to a close. With all of the snow and excitement in the air it is difficult to not plan your next day on the slopes. Not sure where to start? No problem. Here are some of our favorite runs that are not to be missed during this prime time of the season:

  • Upper Four O’Clock – Accessed via 6 Chair, Upper Four O’Clock is a groomed black diamond run with impeccable view of Imperial Bowl that will make you want to keep skiing even after lifts close at 4.
  •  Peerless – Located on Peak 10, this is the perfect black diamond mogul option. The run is wide open and offers plenty of room for both skiers and snowboarders.
  • Northstar – Gain access from the Colorado SuperChair. This blue run is best known for its incredible views and offers a big initial drop off that eventually levels into groomed terrain.
  • Bliss to Déjà vu – A great cruiser combination on Peak 6 that is perfect for intermediate skiers.
